So I felt guilty about leaving this thing half done and powered through the rest the last 2 days in my spare time .

I will put it aside to quilt in a few months when I'm ready.

Yes not me really. Bought the kit on clearance 2 years ago to practice piecing small and triangle pieces.

I practiced.

The artist in me is heavily into bright contrasting colors working together. That pattern definitely does it for me. Two of my favorite patterns are tumbling blocks and Amish shadow quilts.

Good news! The three inches of snow are officially history. Temps on Wednesday 73 here! Finally! SPRING!

@ronott1 - I have a Seagate external backup drive. It is crapping out. Any suggestions as to what I should replace it with? Dumb thing is only a couple of years old and never goes anywhere, not like it was getting banged around.

Took pictures tonight of the Orscheln chicks. While I was trying to get a pic of the boys one of the girls decided to fly up and sit on my shoulder. I think she is going to be a mama's girl.

So here are two of the boys, Vee Dub in the back (short for Volkswagen) and Turbo in the front. He and his brother Diesel think they are all that and a bag of chips. And little miss Echo.

They are 7 weeks old. No denying the boys are boys.

I love the little pullet's coloring. They both look like they are frosted.
