The Old Folks Home

Morning everyone.

@superchemicalgirl, sorry to read that you waved the white flag and went to the ER. Never fun. I'm pretty much the same way though. Hang on as long as I can before I declare defeat

Sure hope you are feeling better this morning.

I got about 8-9 hours of sleep. Slept straight through with no repeat of the night before. Woke up feeling pretty darned good for a change so hopefully that was the end of the GI bug for me. DH told me this morning that h e had been thinking about where I'd been that I could have picked up a bug and he remembered I'd been to Dollar General about 5 days ago. Yep, that would do it.

Busy day ahead. Trip to town for groceries and pick up another virus, LOL,
Public places of any type. I doubt that the Dollar General is worse. You can get it from sitting in a movie theater since the norovirus is very contagious. I think it is a one to 2 day incubation also and not 5

That is good news! If it is just a dot than it wont be a permanent thing to be seen after treatment is over
Its permanent and the one I can see is about the size of the head of a pin. Gotto last through thirty treatments. I don't mind seeing a blue dot... just looks like one of my freckles... 'cept its dark blue

there was an article about how tattoos work recently. As the skin cells die, they release the ink to the new skin cells. It seemed to surprise the authors of the study and there is a plan to see if this mechanism can be used to fight cancer. It seems that tattoos can aid cancer treatment in many ways!

Blue dot... Better than a red A?

BF's niece apparently went to ER yesterday, too, but during the day. His stepdad is still hospitalized with it. His mom and nephew still have it but they're toughing it out at home.

For now.

This is a tough bug.
The scarlet Letter!

Keep that bug over on your coast!

:fl

I've been checked in triaged seen stool sampled and release and am home .

Gotta love a small town. Im 30 minutes from the hospital left my house around 130 home at 4 .
very nice! (well. .. as these things go. :hu )

I hope the birth goes well. Do you make cheese from the milk?

The last year we have only had one goat in milk... which was close to just right for drinking. On occasion we got more than we wanted to drink.. and Spouse turned it into ice cream.

Last year we had 2 milking and then I made yogurt and cheeses that don't need renet. So ricotta, and soft spreading cheese.
