The Old Folks Home

Got that down for certain... but they are talking internal protection. There have been instances where the bladder adheres to parts of the body you dont want it to... and the intestines adhering to other loops.

I leak over most anything now I hate it more than anything to

Oh I already do... the new mask construction is easy to adjust and the machine that was pumping the air I swear had no noise. It was amazing. I like white noise any way....so if mine makes noise I am good to go.

I am so relieved, as well. I was going to need a skin graft over my, well... anyway... luckily it stopped.

I have a gal picking me up to take me to get labs done today.
I hope it does not take them 5 hrs to get me home this time.
It is great that our Four are making good progress on returning to health!

Just say not skin graft there SCG!

Misty, I am so sorry that DH and you are going through this. Prayers sent that it is just an infection.

I read a really disturbing story on the news last night about cancer. Doctors think it is now unrealistic to find a cure for cancer but instead are starting to focus on ways to control it like a chronic disease.

I hate to hear this. But I have to admit I have known a lot of people that have lived with cancer indeed as a chronic condition most of their lives.

Still, find a way to keep it from killing people.

As for the diet. I could just see how my IBS would love doing that. Be gas/fart free? Not with my GI tract.

Spent the morning turning the down trees into rounds destined for next winter's heating. Busy day ahead.

I am encouraged by that though!

In a sense, we live with cancer and pre cancer our whole lives. Our immune system defeats it early usually but then sometimes it does not.

I think that is the answer--immunity and gene therapy. I have thought this since I was in High school and wrote a class paper on it back in 1976
