It's another hatch day. Three chicks so far.
In the yard the roses have started blooming. Lots of reds and corals.

I've been running my ac for a week at least. It's already summer here.

We had to run AC last week. We go through cool and hot periods in the Spring and Fall here

We do here also. But the ac will likely stay on through Dec. Here.

I had the ac on for part of a day Tues. I think. I cannot tolerate heat ( anything over 75) but the ac (central) costs a fortune to run. I hate the cold air blowing over my face.
I must have been born crabby. Probably slapped the doctor before he could slap my butt.

At night I put the ceiling fan on low (crabby again, hate the noise). When the fan is on high it rustles curtains and stuff and scares me so none of that.

SCG if she made an elephant size dump how did that fit in a bag? You probably needed a storage locker. Then write "time capsule" on it and "do not open for 50 years". It should have cooled off by then.

I checked the weather for today...

Partly cloudy. Warmer. High near 85F. Winds WSW at 10 to 15 mph.

Al, I'm both glad, and sad that your sons are leaving. Heck, due to the many things you've posted about them, it's almost like I know them. I'll miss them right along with you. At least I don't have to worry about foreigners that don't speak English, driving white vans, lurking at airports, picking up young men.

I'm sure they'll keep you posted on everything, and you'll share with us. Right?

Actually ... eldest has decided to go down to my mom for this summer to learn general church stuff from my brother-in-law the priest, and learn to sing from this other guy. And he wants to see my dad who is still in such bad shape .

AND.... he will be picked up from the airport by a complete stranger. not yet sure if a white van or foreigner will be involved. .... I will keep ya posted.
