Actually ... eldest has decided to go down to my mom for this summer to learn genetal church stuff from my brother-in-law the priest, and learn to sing from this other guy. And he wants to see my dad who is still in such bad shape .

AND.... he will be picked up from the airport by a complete stranger. :lau not yet sure if a white van or foreigner will be involved. .... I will keep ya posted. ;)

Diva... you really SHOULD look into replacing that mattress... maybe with a recliner? I rotate my mattress about twice a year and have "sleep dents" built in to both sides. But they are at opposites ends, so if I roll over to the "other" side, it's up hill to the edge. The recliner works well for me. I can nap in it just about any time I kick up my feet in it.

I wish I could get a pair of tires on my truck for $300... If I get out of the shop for less than $500 a pair, I'm generally thrilled. I think I caught the last pair perfectly @ ~$475.

My youngest kid is 32, the oldest is about to be 38. (my KID is almost 40!!! :barnie) And I have 6 grand kids... That should be all total and it'll be a while yet before great grands.

SCG, my AC has been off and on for almost a month. Right now it's back on as I'm around 80° and humid. I was hoping to leave it off for a while yet to save on electric bills, but I don't do heat and humidity well. I feel for you going from freezing to baking overnight.
