We have severe thunderstorms with tornadoes heading our way. It was one of those days that felt like it wouldn't end well. Way to warm and humid not to.

Wheel fell off our silly 6 year old lawn mower today. DH mows with a large garden tractor and a three point hitch power finishing mower., I do the trim work and hard to reach places with my push mower. Motor is perfectly good but the deck is just turning to rust. He was able to weld on a patch for me but the grass was so wet from last night's rain and today's humidity that I just pushed it in the barn and pledged to plow through the 7 inch high grass tomorrow.....maybe.

Roses are beautiful. I used to love to grow roses. Now they are filed under the category of 'things to plant that need too much care'.

I have a 15yr old push mower runs excellent for doing trim work, I use mine where most people would use a weed wacker, I hate the weed wacker. Get covered in grass.
I've had to patch and weld the back end where the wheels attach a couple times till there was nothing left to weld to, unless I refabricated half the deck lol. Picked up a free push mower in excellent shape with a bad motor. Swapped my motor on to it, pretty easy, and the old girl mows on.
Had a old Deutz Allis riding mower yrs ago (they were built by Simplicity) built like a tank. The deck was undercoated. When I get another mower someday I think I'm going to buy a can of spray undercoating and coat the underside of the deck.
Bought a husqvarna rider few yrs back and didn't bother cause it had that deck wash hookup, it sucks for the most part IMHO. Decks rusty underneath already.

The red roses are nice but those coral roses......drop dead gorgeous!
I can grow many things but roses elude me.

It could be called a field tractor too. It looks like the right size for orchard work too
