The Old Folks Home

Middle gets all the hand me downs from the oldest. Youngest gets the mattress from the middle child. Youngest child's mattress is for when oldest comes to visit.
kids 2 and 4 get nada?

Good point! Since he is now chief wood chopper, he should get the mattress. I think he is the one stuck on the worst mattress. ... now that I think about it. :old
Seems fair to me, the one doing the most back breaking work should get the best mattress.

Those of you with muscle weakness may want to take a vitamin d (cholecalciferol) with it and see if that helps
The side effects are much more then muscle weakness. Over the decades that Drs. want people to take statins, nearly everyone will have the muscle wasting and cramp problem from something that is being shown to not prevent heart attacks.

One study said statins help you equally to eating one apple a day. That one was from the UK

Unfortunately we were taking vitamin D and CoQ10. DH's doc at the time was a big I mean BIGpromoter of Vit D use in people over 55 so we were taking a large dose.

For me, I was okay for about a week and then the nausea started followed by the muscle weakness.

I also take Vita D dummy doc put me on it for my brain helps there also allot of vitamins have too much iron in them I can have small doses just shouldn't try to do iron daily for me can feel when that is in something get down rite rummy an tired

No insult meant, SGC, don't go away.

Some people are just super sensitive to drugs and react weird to them.. I am one of those. Recently had a bad reaction to Zanaflex that put me flat on my back and in excruciating pain. I can take Flexeril but not Zanaflex. Even the doctor was impressed that I caught the adverse reaction.

When my mother was in heart failure, they cut back her Digitalis due to the fact that she was in the toxic range and they feared it would worsen her heart failure. I explained to the doc that her previous doctor learned that she had to stay on the high side of toxicity to keep her CHF under control and I wouldn't be surprised if the reason she had relapsed was because her 'toxic' level had dropped. Doc didn't believe me and decreased her Dig. 24 hours later she was worse. 48 hours later even more worse. Next morning the doctor came in and apologized and told me I knew what I was talking about. They had given my mom an IV bolus of digitalis along with a second dose that morning and just got her labs back. She was out of heart failure and responding.....her labs were greatly improved and her Dig level was happily elevated to just over toxic levels.

What can I say.......I inherited the gift honestly.:idunno
