chicka, the mortgage company has reported it, with multiple customers, and there is an open investigation. We're not the only one's this has happened to. They're only targeting people that have gotten VA loans through them. The letterheads match perfectly, so they look totally legit. They traced the phones to a place in PA, but those phones forward the calls to another state. I'm sure it won't be too long before they get it all sorted out.

I'm still glad he called though. Like I said, that puts an extra $350.00 a month back into our budget.

I'm glad John Deere stepped up to the plate, and helped with the cost of the belt too. I don't mind paying if it was old, or if it were the result of mechanical failure, or running over something that would have caused it, but that was not the case.

If you use the hornet/wasp spray, it shoots far off in a stream. No need for all the protection. Just aim, and shoot the wasp with it. It's instant. They are paralyzed, and fall down immediately. Within a few seconds, they're dead.
Ummmm I hate to disagree with this statement, but it aint always so... :old

I had 3 large red wasp nests up inside my soffits. They gained access through cracks created from wood warping in 2 cases, and from holes made by woodpeckers in another. As wasps do, they would congregate outside when first warming up and that's when I would blast them with hornet & wasp spray. I've used multiple brands and all had the same affect on them: It would knock them down about 50% of the time. The other 50% they would drop off and fly away. Those that hit the ground would wander around for a bit then fly away. In order to kill them I would basically have to keep spraying them until they drowned.

I have heard using just plain old soapy water (with dawn) will also knock them down and kill them. I haven't tried that. I sealed the cracks and the holes with liquid foam so they could not get in or out and after several months, they are finally gone. I still see them around, especially down by the sheds.

:barnie poison resistant wasps!

Thanks for sharing this. I would not mind having one. But Dh is not able to do the bending it would take or the lifting. And I am not able to either. My hip limits me to much.

Diva is is hot most of the time here. We do get some cold days and a lot of rain. But
we can use tarps like I did in the turkey and breeding pens. My birds were fine in it. It was all open air. We just enclosed 3 sides with tarps during the coldest temps. My birds never acted like it affected them.
I wondered about that!

Can you get a friend or relative to help?
