The Old Folks Home

I just got home from the local Amish general store and asked how the the little one was doing. That is the place to get all the local 'news' updates.

The owner of the store said that he is doing very well and had been discharged from the hospital. They were able to reattach the left foot but there was nothing they could do with the right. Now it is up to healing and time. At least the child survived, which is all that matters.

Very hot here today. First day in the 90s for us. I picked up things to cook out for the holiday but other than that no big plans except cleaning the coops up. I need to net my grow out pen up and running again so I can put my broody and her 3 little twirps outside during the day. Every time one of the broodies with eggs tries to get down and stretch their legs, she beats them up. Her chicks are 5 weeks old now, it's like, come on, mom, give it a rest will ya?
It is cool here today but will be hot next week. Time to setup the shade and get the misting system programmed

Start with Kindergarten graduation, then grammar school. Get to as many as you can :D

Sounds like my house. The frogs in the pond are VERY talkative ... and loud.
Well, I do need one of a boy. Not kindergarten, but elementary graduation. A few years back.
