The run is all chicken wire. Now with a big, gaping hole in it. I’m used to losing a couple every year to predators, but the amount of carnage this time was shocking.

It was something big then. What did the predator link say?

We think coyotes, more than one. I only found three bodies. The rest were carried off. I could hear them down our long driveway. That’s what woke me up.

I never heard my chickens scream like that. That’s what woke me up. I grabbed my slippers and took off after them but couldn’t find them. I could only hear them. I came back up to check on the rest and that’s when I found the carnage

I'm gonna guess she is broody.. I've checked her out real good, even looked for snake bites, nothing.. This morning I took her out of the roost, she got ruffled up, smh.. She ate and went right back in, lol

The big poo was a clue... Broodies will hold it and go only once a day...

I'm so ticked off at Dh I could spit nails. I've calmed down since day before yesterday, but not much. Grrrrrrrrrr.
