Take care everyone:love

Next weekend, I'm buying the groceries, so Dh and I can go on a diet. It's a pretty easy diet, and works really well. My stepson lost over 100 lbs. on it, and he doesn't have any saggy skin, or that haggard look that so many get when they lose so much weight. His mother lost 55 lbs. on it, and looks good too. Yes, it takes some time to lose that much, but like I said, it's not a hard to do diet, and you don't starve. Dh needs to take off at least 50 lbs.

Ron, thanks for the pudding recipe. I'll have to give it a try.

I do this one in the microwave:
1/4 cup Hershey's Cocoa
3 Tablespoons cornstarch
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 - 1/4 cups milk (I usually use at least one cup half & half to make it richer)
2 Tablespoons butter or margarine
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Mix dry ingredients, then add milk. Whisk it all together. Cook in the microwave for about 8 mins. removing it, and stirring with the whisk every 2 mins. When done, whisk in the butter, and vanilla. Let set in the refrigerator, or pour into individual servings, then let it set in the refrigerator.

Microwave putting!

Nice!

No we don't have central air. We have a large unit that exhausts outside for the bedroom area. I sewed a curtain to keep the cool air in, but allow the animals to move freely back and forth (amazing how they will whine and scratch at a closed door - always on the wrong side of it).

Spent most of the weekend under a quilt to try and finish it.

Someone I work with just got informed her adoption paperwork was approved for a 3 year old boy named Mason. He's developmentally disabled. I'm thinking about a mason jar quilt... with glow in the dark thread.

That's a fantastic idea. And so sweet.
