I've graduated to chicken soup and vitamin water. Very glad I don't have to work this weekend, the last 2 days were pretty tough. But got out in the garden for a little while until the skeeters drove me in, so by tomorrow should be about back to normal.

It's been raining again (still?) since about 3 pm. We've had an unusual amount of rain this year. It started early, and I think we've only had 2 days without rain since March. It's keeping the temperatures way down though. We've gotten a LOT of mosquitoes. I'm about to do around the coop in garlic powder, just to see if it will keep them at bay.

1mutts, hope you get better soon. I like Powerade when I get a stomach bug.

117 today crossing from Spring Valley to Santee.... Alpine has a big fire.... Camp Pendleton has a big fire.... And Scrips ranch has one... The one at scrips ranch is following a velley that burns up to the back of grandmas house....
