What was the issue with Bama? I actually thought he was a VERY straight shooter... No political correctness at all. Called a club a club (didn't want to use "spade" as I'm so ultra PC ). Pulled no punches and had no issue calling folks out for their BS. He was so loathed by those with their knickers all in a bunch... Got to the point that if he so much as sneezed and farted... well... Cya! Anyway, he brought me some pretty good laughs

ETA... As I recall, it got so sensitive that even the mention of his name got folks a "time out"... Hope I haven't earned one here

Just got notified that the FCC has officially recorded my upgrade to General License Holder DH asked me if I was going to go for the highest operator level which is called Extra. NO! was my emphatic response. My brains hurt from studying now. Pretty cool way to celebrate my 65th year on this earth IMHO.

Also found out that the 'foxes' in our fox hunt yesterday completely outfoxed all the hunters. Score one for the foxes zero for the HAM operators.

In all seriousness I don't know what we would do without that tractor. We dropped a dead tree back on our North property edge 21 inch diameter. We chained the top out of it and was left with an 18 foot length of trunk that was on a down hill grade. Chained that puppy up to the tractor and it pulled it 50+feet uphill without protest.

Better late than never. Aren't you glad you didn't go shopping yesterday?? I suppose you could have taken everything back, dumped it on the checkout counter and said "So do you want me to return all this and then buy it right back or just give me the discount?"

OK Micro, tree help I you please. There is an old apple tree at the edge of the woods. About a foot behind it is a tree probably 12" diameter which is shading the apple and causing it to reach toward the field for sun. I would like to remove the 12" tree but it too is leaning somewhat toward the field. How do I drop it away from the apple?
