I am not actively dying but I did get to leave work early today to dictate a will, and dedicate healthcare and regular power of attorney.

That was so much fun.


I highly recommend most people go and do that. It was an hour. Can't say it was painless, but it's done.

My dad made me make one when I turned 18... practical man my dad.

And yes... I made a new one after getting married... huh... I think.... huh... I should look.

So... happy post... the barnyard here is going hatch crazy... I have three sets of ducklings, one set of chicks... and 2... or is it three... more hens sitting... should be hatching soon.

I keep telling myself that this has got to eventually burn itself out.

I just finished reading about that wild fire y'all are fearing in California, and with good reason. Horrible. Please please please be careful all you west coast folks.
