Oh my , those poor people! I never understood living in California. Real estate too expensive, too many taxes, too many regulations, not enough water, earthquakes, and fires. Besides everything there causes cancer! Leave me out of all that.
The worst part about the fires is the smoke! We have been in poor air quality for weeks now. It used to happen for a week every couple of years and usually in the Fall. Now it goes on for months starting in July.
That makes two of us, Cap. I'd much rather deal with blizzards, freaking cold and freaking hot weather. The New Madrid fault occasionally hiccuping and the occasional Tornado than to chance regularly loosing everything to the horrible fires.
I am not actively dying but I did get to leave work early today to dictate a will, and dedicate healthcare and regular power of attorney.
