Yes to the new wireless router replacing the netgear router. Make sure the new one has enough ethernet ports

Morning all been up since 8 caregiver in at 9 sourdough bread is rising first round took a walk this morning headed out to do chickens.. We had rain last night little better than a drizzle chickens will be doing happy dance rain brings up the worms

good to know... I looked up PDAnet and it too is awesome but I am on Verison

http://pdanet.co/help/devices.php Verison has limited the access. Though there is a work around buy connecting the phone to your computer by USB.

Id rather the cables be behind the computer... sigh.

PDAnet works perfectly with Verizon. That is what I have. My phone plan is many years old, grandfathered-in, with unlimited internet. Basically the app funnels your internet use through your phone, so Verizon has no way of knowing if you are using your phone or another device. You do not need to get the Verizon device for internet or pay separately for your internet use on top of your phone plan.

I have used up to three devices at the same time through the wireless hotspot that it sets up and while it is not the fastest internet in the world it is quite acceptable. And paid version is worth every penny, I'm sure this program has saved me thousands of dollars over the years.

It's really amusing to be rolling down the highway, typing away on my computer or tablet while going down the road, without having any internet charges apart from the phone bill. Not when I'm driving, though.

If your on FB there's a very helpful group called "rv living the dream" we read it and most everyone is very helpful. The Admin does not put up with anyone picking at anyone. We use my Verizon phone as a hot spot when we can get signal. But it's hard to do camping on the water.
