This is what the smoke did to air quality yesterday

I live in Woodland

We have a big one now..not as big as yours, but this thing is way out of control now. All of our county got the alarm on their phones for evacuation. I thought, oh oh, an Amber alert..then saw it was for evacuation. They didnt need to for the whole country. It is just up the canyon from us though. The air is the worst we've ever seen. We are in the deep red, Utah county has a warning for going out. The air around us, is orange. How do I explain...its orange outside! Weird eery feeling. They closed the freeway going south from us, to allow the evacuees to get out. So sad. Havent had anything this bad ..this near us...ever. Getting a taste of what you guys are going through. We all need a good heavy rain Ron.

Had to go have more blood work done for my regular dr. Yesterday. They took 10 viles of blood. I felt like I needed T-bone steak afterwards.
Most mornings I get up and get a cup of coffee and then loose it just as quick. And just feel tired and no energy all day. Dh saw me getting sick again this morning and asked what's wrong with you? I told him I don't know. I hope the dr. Can tell me. I hate feeling like this all the time.

@Cynthia12 So sorry you all are having to deal with this wildfire situation. Mother Nature is really throwing a hissy fit these days. Wish she would take some Midol and mellow out.

We don't have wildfires but it is so hot and dry here, I'm surprised we don't. It's rumbling thunder outside now but I'm not holding my breath that we'll get a lot of rain out of it.

@Chickadoodles10 viles of blood? Ouch! Chronic fatigue is not fun and it's less fun waiting around to get test results and instead of getting resolution to your problem, they come back normal. You're always glad they are normal but basically you are back to square one. Not knowing.

My appt with the rheumatologist is coming up this next Wednesday.I have no idea what he is going to tell me and frankly, yes, I'm apprehensive that he is going to tell me that I need surgery on my knuckle.

We had our Johnny Cash on Science Prescription Diet for diabetic felines and his blood sugars were up in the 800 range the whole time. Before that he was on Purina food also. The problem with them is their carb content. Diabetic cats can't deal with carbs.Right now we have 5 cats on three different foods. Cash uses the Young Again 0 Carb diet, Gem our other male, the Science diet for bladder health as he has urinary stones. The three girls June, Ruger and Camo eat Purina. They would all rather have the Young Again 0 carb but at over 125 dollars for 25 pounds,......

Gonna have breakfast here and go see if my broody has hatched out any chicks. Took a peek last night and no pips yet but the bantams usually hatch on day 19-20, especially when the weather is as hot as it has been.
