None of the are close enough to Woodland for smoke issues yet.

Cynthia I hope you and Ron don't have to worry about the fires getting close to you guys!

Clue do you have a jon boat? I hope it dissipates quickly and that will be the end of the flooding for you guys!

Stacked wood till pain took me out but all the wood dropped last night 1/2 our cord is stacked away from what was left from last year rest will be here about noon

Ron, Cynthia, very sorry to hear about the new fires.

As far as winter goes, I'm going with the wooly bears. And the Old Farmer's Almanac (not the New one).

Although we usually do get quite a bit of rain, this year we've broken records. It's not typical.

Bunny, I don't know about the river part, but Florida is that little strip of pretend land sandwiched between the Gulf of Mexico on one side, the Atlantic Ocean on the other side, and the Straits of Florida further south. Those are a LOT bigger than rivers. We do have several rivers, a lot of natural freshwater springs, and lakes.

Cynthia, the Fernandina area is beautiful. Yes, back in the day, during the summer we'd get a shower during the latter part of the day for about an hour, which would cool things down nicely.

I've got so much radio technology crammed in this old head that I have lost the ability to remember how to open a door or use a fork.

You can always eat with your hands but keep running into those doors and you'll forget a lot of important stuff!
