Was out digging the pond, then had a dentist appointment in the afternoon. New dentist to me, 5 minutes from current home. Old dentist 10 min from prior home, 35 from here. First time I've had my BP taken at the dentist's office.


Well, it does only seem fair that if the gov't says we can't kill things that are killing our livestock, the gov't (actually us of course) should compensate. $2.2M is a LOT of money!


Al's people kids are supposed to herd the goat kids. Seems only fair the goats should herd the people kids and give Al a break!


I think there might be 1 or 2 people on this forum that have chickens. And those chickens lay eggs. Why not just eat the membrane straight from the source instead of paying $$ for processed stuff?

Well as a matter of fact, I DID ask the doctor that. I said. I raise chickens! Can't I just gnaw on the egg membranes from the eggs they give me every day. He said. Ahhhhh......no. Sometimes I just can't figure Docs out

When they do it Deb, ask them to numb you but allow you to be awake to watch on the monitor. I had that done and it was really interesting. At first they started to knock me out but I reminded them I wanted to be awake. That way you can also ask questions as they occur and the doc kinda has to answer them

to coin a phrase.... UM..... NO.... Not only NO but HE..... ell NOOOO. I can barely walk into a hospital.... Yeah surgery and all even radiaition....Mom would watch.... Supervise even... Still cant watch em do an IV cant even look at the IV site unless its covered in copious amounts of Tape.

Yep quaility time for sure.... kind of used to it... radiation did that to me... Just got over it too... Hopefully it wont last six months... again...

Been there, done that. Twice. Don't recall remotely enjoying any part of the experience.

I frankly told the doctor that they would have to run me down screaming, tackle me, hog tie me, dart me with a tranquilizer dart and drag me to the hospital before I would have one. Doesn't matter that both my parents had polyps. If I have polyps I will name them and nurture them like pets.

Either that or if I was in a coma then they could do one.

Yes, nurses DO make lousy patients!
