The Old Folks Home

Oh I'm in Maine.

Fly tomorrow out to St George.
OK, re-read my post tomorrow afternoon ;)

St. George UT, BAD memories. MANY years ago we did a family trailer camping trip from So. Cal up to Washington, across Idaho and down to Yellowstone. Dad, stepmother, me, 2 step sisters, 2 sisters. Big early 70's Buick station wagon. Something in the alternator failed long about St. George so we spent an entire day at the dealership. Didn't have a part they needed, thought they were going to get it from somewhere else. Waiting, waiting, waiting. Eventually they decided they couldn't get it and there wasn't one in Vegas either. The rest of the trip was no A/C or other electricity using things (like the windows) and quick charging the battery every time it got low. Would have been a good time to have a diesel engine!

No big thing, the prep was not difficult, stressful or that big a deal. You do want to be home and near your own bathroom.
NEAR your own bathroom? Might as well live in it!

The f'in insurance will only pay for a month at a time.:rant
That is weird, the ones we have had force you to through their preferred (read 'we got the best deal' from them this year) mail order pharmacy, 3 month supply.

I've had a spot show up on my chest.
I thought at first I might have scratched myself. But it's not going away.

It's the funny brown spot in the right center. What do y'all think it might be?

Thanks to DH getting pieces of him whittled away with every 3 month check up to his dermatologist, I take every little bump mark or boo boo seriously.

Keep an eye on it until you see your doc the next time and please show it to him. Better safe than sorry.

I have to drink the whole Effing thing.... eight ounces at a time.....
There is a new one out that is not gallons of goop to drink but Dr.s are slow to change sadly.

Love this. And sounds like they're in good condition, too! <3

Dsqard and I are headed out tomorrow to Canyonlands and Arches.
Most of them are in good condition, as they are granite. The marble ones, not so much. They are so hard to read! (Partly because most of them are in Norwegian.) They have lichen on them, and I think the stones wear away more in the weather.

I'm not a Dr., so not going to diagnose, but would say it bears looking at. Glad you're getting it checked.
