The Old Folks Home

Clue glad they got your problems fixed so fast.

Micro that's great you looked at Walmart.
That's wher I bought my phone. I got the moto g6 and turned off all the moto stuff. I like this phone and I get a better connection. I'm back on straight talk. They use everyone's towers so you get good service. It's pay as you go 50. A month unlimited.

Micro I get double vision when my vertigo starts acting up. I take 12 mg nausea meds for it. It helps most of the time.

that is a nice looking fish!

Will you keep the perch?

Oh yeah.

Cruel! Take away the "women's work" AND the "men's work"? What does he get to do??

Well he is an ironworker. So if something doesn't fit, it means you need a bigger hammer. Imagine where that would take you with a tractor.

Lawn mower. Weed whacker. And chainsaw sometimes

I kind of feel like the Prodigal Poster. Sorry about that. Cannot even say I've been lurking all that much. I burned through two computers (crash, burn) and hadn't had a chance to set up the new one until recently. Been away for too long, but -- DANG! -- I've been swamped with projects that beget projects and yet more projects lined up on the runway to take off. And that was without running a farm! It has been a conspicuous year for fruit and none of my peach trees were coordinated with one another to be doing the same thing at the same time, so it was an endless cycle of beating at least a ton of green fruit out of the trees, harvesting ripe fruit, and processing. Now we're deep into the peppers. Never thought I'd say that I'm looking forward to the dead of winter.
The interior of the remodel/rehab up in Santa Fe is almost done. Discovered that the laundry closet is a squitch too narrow, so having to reconfigure shelves and whatnot for a stacked machine as I'm not wanting to widen a doorjamb and get new doors. At least with the stacked ones I can also find storage for the vacuum cleaner therein. Still have some exterior work to do, but not a high priority at present.
Waiting to see what the blue-feathered olive eggers will produce in egg color. The girls are pinkening up, so perhaps something before first frost.
Health-wise doing well (although I'm sure at my physical next week the docs will give the same refrain of diet-and-exercise), despite the knees dictating one day on/one day off and my schedule dictating otherwise. (Thank you naproxen and CBD salves!) Did DNA testing and fairly clear of all maladies EXCEPT it looks like the variants dictate macular degeneration in my future. (Better do all my sightseeing now, eh?) Funny, I scored REALLY high on Neanderthal genes. (Insert joke here)

Anyway, I've missed y'all!

Nice to see you Peep. Glad the house is moving along.

Penny I think my husband would LOVE to examine your eyes. He says he has only one patient now, me, but hearing about your vision problems fascinates him.
Road trip to WA!!!!

did I say I really hate those dilating drops?
How about the painful numbing drops that are supposed to make the ones that follow not hurt?

I told the nice lady I talked to that they needed their butts kicked.
Go get em Micro!!

Oh my, let's see first you work your way up to a 300 HP tractor, then you need to build a huge equipment shed for it and all the implements, etc.

Yep don't let him use the existing tractor.
