you going to hang a sign on it.... Steal this pumpkin and DIE....
Presumably they thought it was a fun joke? No idea other than that. And if that is is, it wasn't funny.kinda different why what would motivate someone to do that
This is why i hate housework, it just doesn't last. How long are the grands with you, Clue?micro, with all of us living here, I totally understand your statement about raking the runs, and cleaning house, or raking the house, and cleaning the runs. When it was just me and Dh, I could clean the house, and it would stay that way for several days. With the grandkids here, I'm lucky if it stays clean for a couple hours. I used to wash about 3 - 4 loads of clothes once a week. That included bedding Two people don't generate enough clothes very quickly to fill a large capacity front loader, and I do full loads as much as I can, since the cost of electricity is the same for a large load, or a half one. Now, I wash at least 2 - 3 loads every couple days.
When everyone walks in, they think the kitchen counters beg them to put their "stuff" on them. It's a constant struggle. My grandson has been potty trained for years, but was lazy. I warned him several times about his laziness. A few weeks ago, I had him write sentences, "I will lift the seat before I pee, then I will put the seat down, and flush." He's done fine since then. After they've all taken a bath, or shower, the bathroom looks like a tornado hit it. Toys usually get picked up after they eat their supper. They have 2 bedrooms they can mess up, and a play area off the kitchen in a breakfast nook area. I try to keep toys to a minimum in the family room, but there are times....
The older kids are not too messy when they eat. The youngest is another story. She's only 2. Of course, she thinks she's just as big, and capable as her older siblings. It gets messy often. I used to be able to vacuum every other day, and scrub the floors every 7 - 10 days. Now I have to vacuum at least once a day, and sometimes twice. I scrub them every 3 - 4 days. I can't wait until she's older, and I don't have to work so hard keeping things cleaned up. Tonight while Dh is at work, I'll vacuum. I need to organize the shelves in our bedroom closet, and put up a couple boxes of things, as well as hang my winter clothes in the closet. Today, when Dd gets back from the doctor, I hope to be able to sort, and sift my mealworms. I need to clean out the fridge, and wipe it down too. Of course, Dh will get up tomorrow afternoon to get ready for work, and insist I never do any housework. Grrrrrrrrrrrrr!
