The Old Folks Home

Some people just don't even use their health ins, I don't unless I have to. We do for the kid's.
I didnt when I had it. Doc was an idiot... never knew my name even though Id had him for four years. didnt even take a nanosecond to find it out before coming in the room.... "Ok Mrs... He looks at the chart.... Dixon What are we in here for"...
First of all I am not MRS anything.... Second of all I spent the last twenty minutes filling out the questionair talking to his nurse who wrote it all up....

Sheesh... Besides i had cronic pain in my back and I didnt want it to show up on my history incase I had to change insurances.... Back then they could exclued treatments for a pre existing condition.... OR even refuse to insure you....

Best thing to come out of the insurance kerfluffal.... is the change to not disallow for preexisting conditions.

Now I see a NP not a doctor at a clinic system that provided health care for the indegent and low income... used to be what they called a Free Clinic. But Family Health care has been in the business since the 40s... and still does a sliding fee for people without insurance. Doctors are on call and rove between clinics handling the cases that require more tecnhical assistance... Like Ob Gyn... and diagnostics...

They caught my cancer.... and know my name when I go in... my history. The staff are ready to take care of me when I go in there.

Because i do not go unless I need to...

If I see one that looks the slightest bit like a celebrity, my eyes will follow him all over the dining room. Good to keep in practice just in case...
Back in my youth the only famous person I ever saw was at a horse show. William Devane was riding a Saddlebred in the show...

After the first coat of paint BF suggested we take the kitchen stairs off (we built them last year) and shave off about 3/4 of an inch on the 4x4s so that once the snow/ice pack starts on the steps we can still get the door all the way open (we had some major issues last year, luckily Ripley was still a puppy and could get out of a 4 inch door opening to pee. About halfway through that project we got ADD and for some reason started moving what was left of the dirt pile. And then we decided to rake and blow the leaves. And then I decided that the area the dirt pile was in needed to be raked and leveled and while I was doing that BF decided the tarps needed to be cleaned off and the hoses needed to come in and the spigot protectors put on and he also rebuilt the rock wall that Ripley destroyed, and then I realized the animals needed their feeders and waterers filled, and then I drug the bulk cat litter upstairs and scooped and filled the litter boxes, and then we realized we hadn't finished putting the kitchen stairs back together yet.

And now I'm waiting for the biddies to go to bed (about another 20 minutes), then I'm soaking this sore body in the hot bath and going to bed.

My tractor is larger than your duck coup I have an axle and larger tires heavy rope the end to lift mine is 4 x 8 I can move it alone BF will not left me, we have also towed it with the lawn tractor and the Son's mule using the rope

The machine might work, but it is missing the belt. I would like to get it tuned up.

I will pm you on that be of some help

My Doc has become very important in the local health care hub that has been built
where he practices there is LPN and another Dr. to lighten his load I am still one of his favored he knows what I face and the pain I accept and when I use stronger measures
he hates the controls that he has to work under we laugh when each time I have to pi** in cup

Belts are easy to find and cleaning up those kind of machines are also pretty easy. I've done two .basically you take off each plate protector and use a ton of oil (I used gun and sewing machine oil) to lube everything up .used the gun cleaning cloths and qtips .If something is really rusty use wd40 first then the oil .I also used wooden kabob skewers to get in small areas to scrape crud.
Works great now .

The machine might work, but it is missing the belt. I would like to get it tuned up.

Yeah, I was going to get the yellow but they were out of them in my size so I got the red. It was a tossup between this pattern and one with paw prints all over them.

In the mid 60s here today so I'll be outside finishing cleaning the bantam coop, raking and digging up my annual bulbs and roots.
