The Old Folks Home

I checked my passion vine today and found this.
First Passion fruit 10-28-18.jpg
I doubt it will ripen but it still smells heavenly!

But just when I thought life couldn't get more complicated, in comes HAM radio which goes by Zulu Military Time. Haven't quite got my head wrapped around that one yet although it's 7:20PM right now. Or at least that's what it was when I wrote this.
Yep. 1920 hours, Zulu is UTC. 24 hours time isn't that hard and as you know from HAM, it is important that everyone be on the same clock since you can talk to people pretty much anywhere in the world. Can't expect people to contact based on all the time zones.

New house installed.
Glad when you said wheelbarrow you meant a 4 wheeled cart. I was envisioning trying to balance the house on a single wheel wheelbarrow. Those things are hard enough to control when filled with just dirt and not above the rim!

Then I got ducks and needed something flexible to cover the openings...
Since you don't need it for that anymore, you can put it on the floor of the new house under the straw ;)

Bought acorn squash mine did nothing this year need to make adjustments to the vining type how to place them a wading pool for more than to do not work
anyway cooking the acorns pulled seeds took then to silky they went nuts for the guts of them

Actually, BF bought them a thick rubber mat for the bottom. I think the quilts about had it, rats ate part of it last winter.

I can't think of a better use for such a "quilt".

I would love to smell aPassion Vine flower! Hope you get lots of them Chick

Thanks. I will have to cut it back some in the spring. I was thinking of sending some cuttings to a couple of friends.
If anyone wants some cuttings just let me know. I would mail them to you.
They are suppose to grow 30' a year. lol but I will have to keep it contained to a trellis.
