I'm not that way either, Penny. You would gasp if you knew how much we paid for insurance for the office. I know a doc who was paying over 30,000 dollars back in the late 70s for malpractice ins. He was an OB doc and they really get stuck. One of the highest risk branches of medicine and also one of the most costly.

Snowed off and on all day here. Just plain cold out, much too cold for this time of the year. Usually don't get this weather till mid December or later.

Looking like the solar minimum prediction for a rough winter may be correct, Was talking about the weather in the MFA yesterday when I bought feed. Lady who is the manager said, I believe it. Saw a Wolly Bear caterpillar yesterday and it was black as coal and had a thick coat. That means a hard winter!....gee and here I was going by science.....:lau

Got this table runner done today - going to be a present for my sister for Xmas. She took over my father's outdoor column after his death and writes about fishing and hunting and generally being outside.

This is from a class I had taken in 2015, got everything cut out then quit the class. Found it rolled up on my shelf yesterday, ironed everything down and then stitched it today on the long arm for practice.

Still need a lot of practice!

Sounds like a great choice for your sis.

Looks great too. ;)

That's a beautiful runner SCG. I'm sure your sis will love it.

My son is here for a few days to help me out. Today went and picked up 12 bags of goat feed/pellets and a dozen small squares of hay. All nicely stored away in the out building. Finally had a sunny day today but it's a bog out in the pasture after all the rain we've had. Temp has dropped along with the clearing and we're supposed to have out first freeze/hard frost tonight into the morning. Next few nights are supposed to warm a bit then back to quite cold again.
