The Old Folks Home

The usual exciting sort of things. Sharpened the chain on the saw. Would have done it anyway but it became 100% necessary after I came across some ancient barbed wire in a log I was cutting. Made a holder for the saw on the tractor. Just finished lunch, now I have to go refill the rack on the porch landing and figure out how to put the tarp on the rack roof to keep the rain and snow out of the wood.

So what kind of holder did you make, Bruce?

Just a few pieces of 3/4" wood and 1" side spacers screwed together and wired to the frame for the shield on the left side of the operator's station up by where the loader arms attach. I've seen several of those on the tractorbynet forum. Some people mount a holder on the ROPS but that doesn't look like a good plan on my tractor. The "forward of the left foot" location seems to be totally out of the way on mine.

Guess I could post my "wood processing station" pictures.

And the piece with the barbed wire.

Down to 4 bags of pellets today, so was able to convince the store that was supposed to deliver them on Halloween that I was DEADLY SERIOUS ABOUT NEEDING THEM and now we have 2.6 tons of pellets in the garage.
:yesss:

Spent a few hours working on my new machine today, this time with rulers. I really like that effect (once I got used to how to do it).
