It was, the dentist gave me novocaine but the tooth was infected and the drug did not numb me. I begged him to knock me out with gas or something but he just kept working. No wonder i hate going to the dentist!

I had a tooth that was hard to numb. The dentist injected Novocain into the tooth. Thank goodness it worked!

I had a root canal with no anesthesia, but, that's because he said the nerve was dead. He was right. But felt a lot of pressure boring into the root.

Last one I had I was not under, no one to drive me home. Yeah, not comfortable.

I had that with a sigmoidoscopy - didn't go so well.

The procedure was no problem. The ride home and emergency stop at a rest room in a local park was 'messy'.

Hubby refuses to call my cat Kiss. Refers to him as " your cat".

No pain pills needed so far. But my BP is still up so i took another BP pill. 199/95 not good. But yeah, feeling prettty darned good.

Sounds like the dentist I had as a kid. I’d tell him it hurt and he’d just keep on drilling. The dentist I have now will stop drilling and give me more Novocain as many times as I ask him to.

Trust me, the nerve in that tooth i had done was NOT dead!

He was greedy and wanted the money NOW. Needless to say, i never went back.
