The Old Folks Home

Please pm me that, Cap. I have to buy cards tomorrow for folks we know who are injured or in the hospital. Seems to be the season to fall and batter yourself up. Fa La La La La....

@superchemicalgirl, here are the pics. The one in the lower right corner is the one I am working on now and has turned into the hardest one to do. Also next to the black one, one of my favorites. I started doing this as PT for my fingers to keep them nimble. It seems to have developed a life all it's own. I found these patterns at Colonialpatterns.com and these are the Aunt Martha's iron ons that you embroider. I've always been fascinated with Celtic knots.

I dunno chickens called "Deathlayers," seems like a mighty big downer.

I had a couple of golden comets that were "Death Layers"--they were still laying when they died at about three years old...

Yes, as in they lay themselves to death. They sound a lot like sex links, but with only medium sized eggs. While sex links can live longer, I don't like how their eggs get so large they will no longer fit into a carton - and get very thin shells as well - as they age.

May have to look at a all in one new for me have updated the guys, mine is like 4 years old windows 7 but still hesitate getting 10 maybe wait see if 11 rolls out after the first of the year

I don't mind Windows 10 at all, just had to replace my aging W7 work laptop, fortunately it started getting more quirky just in time for Black Friday and I got a really nice Dell for under $500. I have another W10 laptop that I've been using for a few months with no issues.

Nothing on earth would induce me to drive 180 miles through DALLAS for a sandwich. Nope. My sister lives there, and those people there are the worst drivers I have ever seen.
