BB2K and I got the cookie gun out a few days ago, and made a batch of cookies. We got all fancy - dipped them in dark and/or white chocolate, put on some sprinkles . . . . The results weren't professional grade, but they looked festive and tasted good, and most important of all, we had fun!

As usual, we went to my parents' house on Christmas day. My brothers were there too, and we had a nice time catching up. We were all studiously trying to avoid focusing on the elephant in the room, which is the return of my mother's cancer. She had a PET scan last week, and is still waiting on the results . . . not fun. Prayers would be appreciated.

I think I'm going to live. Might take a few days before I'm certain though. Still coughing sneezing draining, all that fun stuff but my temp is down today and I'm able to stay on my feet longer.

I had to get on my feet. Stupid Stupid Stupid hormonal cockerels are beating the snot out of my smallest older rooster and Timmy is just as stupid as they are because he fights back with them. He's already snapped off the tip end of his beak sparing with one of the little brats. I went out today and raked out the coop. It started raining forcing me inside. Need to go out and finish up covering the windows and then the youngsters get the boot.
