@auperchemicalgirl I am so sorry to hear about your family problems. Things will get better. I always hang on the motto of 'Have faith and wait'.

I'm slowly getting better. Spent all day yesterday coughing until I had a headache and sore ribs. Not coughing nearly as much as I was yesterday so I'm hoping for the best.

DH is fighting it now. Hopefully it will run its course and be gone.

As for taxes I've always been of the mindset that no city no state is so great that it's worth paying outrageously high taxes for the privilege of living there. Which is one of the reasons that we fled Illinois when it came retirement time.

My guess is depression for grampy just died, her mom's attempted suicide and subsequent meltdowns to living with them again and then getting kicked out again a few weeks back and is living in a homeless shelter

Stay away from crowds for a couple more months. There are supposed to be a couple of nasty viruses our there in addition to influenza

I plan to do just that. The local HyVee, plus Walmart do 'Isles on Line' where you can grocery shop on line at their local store,You pay using your credit card or paypal and do a drive up for pick up. We are going to try that. DH already told me I'm grounded til spring.:hit

I've also started using Amazon's 'pantry' for non perishable shopping.
 
We have been very mindful more concerned of BF he has a few years on me :hugs
but refuses to say if he does not feel right most often I seem to be bug free just now..
SCG I am so sorry your having allot of issues family wise keep all in my prayers

It does not sound like fun being immune suppressed!

It is good that we can get so many things online. Here we can get costco and Walmart. There is an online order and then a clerk brings out the order to your car for another local store called Bel Air
