OK, you know how I ask if anyone has fun weekend plans?

Does anyone have fun weekend plans? Interesting?

I don't have fun or interesting plans this weekend (in fact, I'm hoping to start quilting a quilt that should have been done before now, but I digress), but I *DO* have interesting plans for the following weekend and I am absolutely certain that I will win the interesting plans award (note: there is no award) for that weekend.

This weekend, Hmmmmm. Continuing to work on my embroidery project for my quilt. Learning Morse Code, -... -.-- -.-. means BYC! Studying for the final upgrade for my HAM license (not nearly as enthusiastic with that as I am the ditties) oh, and we have a winter storm warning in effect through Saturday. To all the people who said winter was over when the temp was up near 60 here and I said I didn't think so.....TOLD YA SO!.....

Fun plans ... well, staying indoors as much as possible, supposed to be below 0°F every morning. Gonna go to the in-laws for dinner Sat. MIL decided that since the "hard to feed one" is in Canada, we should visit more frequently. They live in a retirement community so MIL doesn't have to cook.

Um, did those people move in 6 months ago or something? No 'local' would ever think winter is over just because there was one warm day. Here we call that "the January thaw". Then it gets REALLY cold for another month or so.

This weekend - going to help DS 2 celebrate his 30th birthday. (I don’t know how this happened. I am not old enough to have one kid over 30, let alone two!) Will also get to see the 2 Granddaughters as a bonus! (They belong to DS 1)
