I lost my last bantam this morning. She succumbed to wounds from a bobcat attack.....and makes her the 13th chicken I've lost in six months. But the culprit didn't get away this time. View attachment 1637993

Well, this morning I once again found bloody backed RIRs, 2 in fact out of the 3. so it appears that now at least 3 of the 5 and most likely all of them have turned into feather eating cannibals. It appears to me, since there's no way I can give each their own space, that they are going to meet their maker and I'll have to start over once again. <sigh> Oh well. maybe I'll put it off till I build an actual coop & run.
