Tell me about it, Pen. Our boy Dingo used to show the younger dogs how to get through the barbed wire. Then one day they found a weak spot and the little girl, Spotty, got clipped by the neighbor's truck. We wound up hot wiring the fence and put the hot wire so it was between the two strands of barbed wire they were slipping through. Worked like a charm, especially when Dingo heisted his leg against it one afternoon. That dog never went near that fence again.
When we get through the trainging stage with the pups we plan to move the fence to the front and replace the barbed wire with welded fence. It'll work till they discover that the other three boundaries are fenced with 6 strand barbed wire.
They are already testing the new wire. They will walk along it and one of the females will grip the wire with their teeth and pull on it. Too smart for their own good.
Heard my little Fayoumi rooster crow today for the first time. He's 5 weeks old so he's right on schedule. Getting ready to move them out to the broody pen.
