The Old Folks Home

I hear ya, Perchie. There are things I can't eat just one or two bites of either....like sour cream and cheddar 'tater chips and M&Ms. I have found that if I really get a craving for something, I'll eat it and the craving will go away. I did that with the chips.

Yesterday, DH and I walked the 300+ feet down the road to the bridge to see how Buck Creek was doing with all the rain. On the way back we found a rock that I wanted to add to my rock garden. DH got it pried loose for me and I picked it up. Had to carry it up a hill and figure that it weighed about 30 pounds. Told DH that I couldn't believe I'd been carrying around that much extra weight plus a few odd pounds. It really hits home when I do that. I had to pause 3/4s of the way up the hill to rest. Without the rock and the extra weight, I would have sailed up that hill.

You'll do fine, Deb. Stick with it. you have the strength within you and are a lot stronger than you give yourself credit for being.

Remember, your BYC support family is here for you!
