Yes happy belated Micro been going at the house we have a area at the front shaded all day nothing in there will grow looks horrible lots of what ifs... decided I wanted oyster there hey run short in the coops go grab a bit not but good giggle so first before second after need at least 2 more bags to finish

Busy busy busy busy...did I mention that the past two days have been busy? I'm slowly feeling better so I've been cramming as much into a day as I can trying to catch up.

The gender difference, Bruce occurs not in the length of the ureter going from kidney to bladder but in the length of the urethra going from bladder. Female's urethra is shorter than a males so the trip out of the body doesn't travel the same distance. Less distance=shorter duration of pain.

Guys I am so sold on container gardening at this point. I transplanted a tomato plant today into a bucket. It's a volunteer plant so I have no idea if it is a cherry or a beefsteak so I'll be surprised but next year our deck is going to be transformed into our garden. I mowed down the strawberry plants today. Out of sight out of temptation. I pulled a few remaining ripe ones and treated the chickens to them. Told them if they had gout attacks, I didn't want to know about it!

Gotta agree, you have to love living in an area where the cops don't want you to bother them unless there are dead bodies involved. Everything else is just farmer business so deal with it.

Well, I heard it through the grapevine. Now you get to have 2 birthdays this year!

My daughter found that the pens in the nurse's office as school had more bacteria than anything else they tested for class, including the drinking fountain.

I finished a gift for a friend last night. She works in a lab and does research on albino rats (she loves them).

I wasn't going to stitch it this densely but then I remembered I had glow in the dark thread...

You might want to take SCG off that list. I don't know if she is old at heart but she's a few decades younger than a lot of us.

Thanks guys, maybe it was me being in a time warp and thinking it was June instead of May....it's been one of those years but hey, 2 birthdays? I'm cool with that as long as they don't add them to my actual age.

We dropped our first baby off at the Vets to be spayed this morning.I know it's a necessary evil but I just hate doing this to them. I can empathize too deeply and imagine how confused and then how much pain they are in afterwards and wondering what has happened to them and where are mommy and daddy not to mention her brothers and sister not to mention auntie Spot and Unc'l Buck.

She has gained over 6 pounds in the past month, now up to 28 pounds. Weight for a female cattle dog is somewhere around 35 pounds. We pick her up in the morning. One down four more to go.

Warm and humid here today with rain called for all weekend. It's like, STOP RAINING ALREADY!They are calling for our first 90 degree day on Sunday but with the humidity sky high and a 70% chance of thunderstorms, should be delightful. If you are into that rain forest tropical jungle thing.

Penny, I love your garden! Only thing missing is a bathtub planter. They are popular around here. Got an old cast iron bathtub? Turn it into a flower pot. I just read an article in Mother Earth News where somebody used discarded bathtubs and made a container garden out of them. They lined their patio with tubs! Amazingly enough, it wasn't tacky looking but very cool since they put pots in front of them to hide the tubs.
