Maybe you could celebrate the 4th of December. You could shoot the fireworks off ANY time.

Out here some neighbors behind us shoot off fireworks and fire crackers all year round. When their team wins, or it loses. They especially enjoy the mini drought we get in summer. Once they set their roof on fire, no problem just used their hose. They also built a huge, two story garage at the end of their yard. Not allowed but, they probably greased some palms.

going to be 91 here tomorrow as well, planning to get some cemetery work in before I melt.

Processing roosters this weekend and I may add the turkey to it. She almost took my eye out last night. We are no longer on speaking terms.

OUCH, SGC, a near miss to the eye is a death sentence in my flock. I've never had one do that thank goodness but frankly, that hen turkey is a danger to your safety at this point. Crock pot time.

We where doing monthly banking today to makes it all interesting there was a tanker hauling used motor oil on it's side on the freeway so we stayed far away from freeway that was backed up like 12 miles mostly big rigs did get coops cleaned
Our plans stay home bought some fireworks will shoot them off the Son has been watering the backyard so if the land there it is safe plus we keep a hose close

We have a town calendar that lists town events, birthdays, anniversaries and deaths.

I almost never look at it, but we put it on the fridge in the basement for some reason (because it arrives [free] each year, I guess).

Today, when swapping June to July, I happened to glance at tomorrow.

Now, either someone was trying to be funny putting Miss Piggy's birthday on the calendar (edited to add she was born on 1 January), or someone else in this small town also has a Miss Piggy that they love enough to post their birthday on the town calendar.

penny, mentioning banking made me think of something a friend of mine said about going through past IRS records. She was amazed at how much her family did, with so little money.

Mom may have found a place for Grandma.... Six person facility and they each have a private bedroom and bath.... They were on a brocheur distributed by Kaiser Permanente which is Grandmas Doctors offices and hospital.

They are just freaking down the street from us now..... The Gal is coming out on Friday to interview grandma... No lease just month to month rent...

I am afraid to get hopefull.
