Finished the yard in front took another 3 1/2 bags of oyster but looks pretty good now
I took the toilet from a rv the guys stripped and sundry other things along with a huge garlic

The back left blue glass bowl is 3 silkie roosters that bf's mom raised that have been also behaving very badly recently. They're why I butchered today, rather than waiting for my birds to be a bit bigger. She has one of my disabled chickens and the roosters almost killed her this week.
The red bowl in front, slightly less dark is the ayam cemanis. The regular birds on the right are The Rapist and my old turken roo.
The back pan is everyone's carcass and neck.

Interesting the cemanis were less dark. I've only done silkies and they were black, bones and organs, breast was more grey but super cool. Tasted great, just like chicken lol. Someday I'd like to get like a hundred of them cause hatchery ones are cheap and do up a huge platter of black chicken wings and drums for a Holloween party

Or just a regular BBQ... and see people freak.

You could make them into fried chicken and wait for them to scream after they take a bite and see what the inside looks like!

Still trying to Battle over how to make asparagus tonight on the grill or in the oven doing the grill this time oven next love making it better than Ma boiling all veggies to death want a few nutrients left right

I love asparagus, have some in our garden
Love them , leftovers usually in chopped up in scrambled eggs.
We usually just kinda steam/sautee/fry? them in a little butter in a frying pan with a lid on sprinkle of water till tender.

Our chickens ate like kings today. Oldest DD and her BF spent three days on Bar Harbor Maine, hiking and taking pics. We had to puppy sit their puppy... Wasn't much fun but not horrible..
Brought us back a couple dozen crabs, dungeness maybe? chickens fought over the carcasses , was plenty but they still went bug nuts over them lol.

Birthday present from my daughter and son-in-law: a handmade portrait of our chick White Butt before she grew into her all black Australorp self. By a paper cutting artist. It’s tiny, about one inch square, and gorgeous!
