You will likely need to test blood sugar more often and maybe cut the diabetes meds a bunch.
Do not blame yourself too much. The Dr. should be more aware of stuff like this
True what Rob said @perchie.girl getting the blood sugar stable with the surgery and weight loss is going to be tricky and a huge learning curve.
