The Old Folks Home

When my pups were 8 weeks old, I "door " trained them in the kennel. It was so cute, they had to stand up on hind legs and "jump" at the door to make it open. I had one sassy little female and she would sit by the door and NOT let any of them come back inside. Not even the huge male. He used to whine until I called her off and he could get back inside.

She also pulled that stuff in the house. She'd sit at the top of the stairs and not allow the others to come up. That was her "cat atude," but, otherwise she was a very sweet dog.

Morning all barely but had coffee funny but Costco has now added the "stew meat" to it's 12.50 cuts of meat no longer in the ribs section but meat is great quality ... Had one pup that would carry her dish dropping it often to say Food Now

We had a pup that slept with his head in the bowl - just in case it might get filled with food while he was sleeping. After eating, he would knock carp out of the dish, chasing and pushing it around the kitchen. He just didn't understand "all gone!"

That's the way our Ben is. Little brat has such a striking beautifully colored face and is just the little cuddle bug with DH and myself. Also very smart as he has mastered leash walking in record time and is ready to move on to heeling and stay/come commands. He's just a little beast with the other pups. When we got him he was a klutzy clown and very small. Nope, not any longer but what is so funny is that he keeps the other 4 'in line' to the point that when I have them out training, one at a time, when they figure out that they are heading back to the puppy room, they lie on their sides and become dead weight. Can't coax them, can't bribe them. We have to carry them into their room and hold Ben back so he doesn't start chastising them when we put them down.

He gets neutered in two weeks.....I can hardly wait.

Finally got a look at my MRI results. :hitis all I can say at this point. Worse than I expected. Driving back from picking up the report I told DH, oh well, they can't claim that I was complaining without just cause. I will be surprised if they don't refer me to a neurologist or spine specialist when I see the pain specialist the end of the month.

Oh well that which does not kill me makes me stronger.

Cracker Barrel's stores are kinda hokey but fun. Love their pecan waffles. Heck, love most any waffles.
:drool

Agreed! The stores are a bit crazy and this one has soooo much in it. Mostly all just touristy junk haha but it’s fun to look at!!

And those waffles sound delicious! I just got meatloaf today but I was seriously eyeing the breakfast :lau was looking at one of the combos with pancakes and eggs and sausage or ham and those yummy biscuits. :drool or the French toast. I LOVE French toast. :love but I love waffles too. I like all breakfast food lol I think good, fluffy pancakes with chocolate chips or blueberries or strawberry banana in it or French toast are my favorites. :drool but only with real fruit, none of that fake stuff haha and real maple syrup. Waffles are good too though. I love the dessert waffles at the Mall of America. :love :drool

But anyway, ultimately ended up with the meatloaf. :lau

Not sure at this point, Deb. I'll know more when I see my pain doc/PCP and Rheumy. I knew about the disc degeneration but there is a lot of narrowing around the nerves and yep, spinal cord which they described as being 'flattening' in nature so I guess there is narrowing there as well in the foramen and facets. What surprised me is that they found a cyst on one of the facets. They didn't say how big or why or if it was important just that it is there. Oh gee....thanks.

I'm really okay and glad that they caught this before it can progress farther than it already has. Yes, it will progress. Most people have some degeneration in their discs as they age but many don't have symptoms. I'm just one of the lucky groups that does.

Sure blind sided me though. After everything to date I just suspected arthritic changes not going to heck in a hand car changes. Compared with what you have been through, this is minor league stuff.
