The Old Folks Home

Nice @CapricornFarm !

1.20 per gallon was our summer fill propane price in May.
We have a 1000 tank that usually lasts us a year. Gas forced air heat, dryer and stove. It was a very hard winter so we needed a fill up earlier this year.
Love, love, love cooking with gas.
Mom has electric and I don't like cooking even basic stuff at her house.
Yeah, gas stoves rule!

Dang grands....the 8 & 5 year old pinned me on the couch, while the 3 year old stole my slippers right off my feet, and took off running with them. It was a hard fought battle. Children were tickled, grandma was tickled, as we all ran wildly through the house. It took about 15 minutes for me to get my slippers back. Then I turned the movie back on, and we all settled down to watch. Whew!

I have cooked on both and do prefer gas. We have Natural Gas here. It is costing me 50 cents a day in the summer. In the winter we use a lot more due to heating costs

did 50,000 words in about 25 days...
Wow, now THAT is a writing assignment.

We went to Muir Woods and Stinson Beach today
My aunt lived in Mill Valley a couple of miles from there. Just looked at her house on Google. It would kill her to see all they have glomed on to it if she were alive. And they took out the massive artichoke plants! There oughta be a law! Don't know what the place is worth now that they've doubled its size, I know it sold for over $900K in '13. Whoever bought it must have deep pockets (or a hella lotta debt).

I see there's a fire in Mexico that's about to hit San Diego County in a remote region. Hopefully Perchie's retreat isn't in the path.
:fl:fl:fl
From the pictures she's posted, you couldn't start a fire there with a flamethrower.

I just got 200 gal. propane for 2 dollars a gallon. Pretty cheap.
Less than half what I have to pay.

The knobs are crazy high priced, not buying them unless needed.
If they really break that quickly, I think I'd get a couple anyway. You just know that when you need one in a few years "they don't make those anymore:.

I swear, I'm getting robbed by the propane company!

How fun!

Oh, that was hilarious! My poor tiny Chihuahua does that if the grass isn’t recently mowed! He loves it, though. Anything to keep up with the family on a walk.

Isn’t it!? Saw it a while ago and then just dug it up again today to share here cause the description of micros dogs reminded me of it and both times, I couldn’t stop laughing. :lau

And aww poor guy! Lol that sounds hilarious though!! Gator used to hop like a bunny when the snow was really deep!! :lau it was never really that deep lately though and then when he started getting older/having his problems he really couldn’t but that one year when we had the “snowmageddon” year with like no snow all winter then storm after storm after storm in February and had like 3 feet of snow he did it :lau I think that was like 2013? 2014? He was only a year or two then haha the snow piles were soooo high too hah he loved laying on the highest pile of snow possible and watching everything. :lau

Anyway, sorry, rambling now. :hide

That’s cute he wants to keep up :love

What does he do during the snow? Lol
