Gabapenton is what lets me sleep at night.... Otherwise I lay there ready to dose off and ping a needle jabs me in the foot. My feet feel like they have a layer of shoe leather on them and or my little toe and next toe feel like they have bad athletes foot... I dont dare move them. Doc looked and no athletes foot... Yay.

But Gabapenton quiets that all down. And Alieve handles the other aches and pains ...
I can ignore them when I am busy doing stuff... but when I try to relax...

so far so good. Off metformin Off Glimiperide... (sp?) Half dose of BP meds

That is good news about the tapering off of meds!
 
penny, I've never done the Gabapenton, since it conflicts with other things I'm taking. You hit the nail on the head when you said it's like an old frenemy. For the most part, I'm used to it, and it's fine. It's when the weather goes nuts, like it has been lately, that it seriously intensifies. I don't really take many medications, so ibuprofen usually works. I've got something stronger for those very rare exceptions that the ibuprofen won't get the pain down to a tolerable level, but I really haven't had to go to that level of pain medication for a very long time.
 
I dragged Dd out of bed, and made her learn how to dose the chickens with dewormer. She did good. The little broody that hissed at Dh, just doesn't know, or like him. She came right off the nest for us, and I got all the eggs out, then we proceeded to worm that group too. No hissing, no fuss, no muss.

I need to spray the coop, and surrounding area. With all the rain, the ants have moved to higher ground. The coop, and area closer to the house is on higher ground. I try not to spray too much, but there are times it's unavoidable. This is one of those times.

The spraying is going to have to wait a few days. I go for an infusion in the morning, and they stuff they're giving me knocks me on my behind for a few days.

My middle DD that helped with the chickens lives in Finland now. Luckily I can handle 6 by myself....
