Thanks kdogg I no longer get refreshments at the show, too hard to tell just what you are eating in the dark.

No problem! Started typing the name of it and that one popped up so I figured it must be it ahah I also loved night at the museum. Similar movie I think with the stuff coming to life.

And that is very true!! Plus the expense!! Idk about yours but ours is insane! Like $5 for a bottle of water, $4 for a pack of snow caps, popcorn is at least 6 or 7 for not even a big one. I’ve started going to the Dollar Tree by our house and buying the movie candy or small waters there and sneaking it in sometimes. :lau :hide

I can get like 4 or 5 boxes of candy for the price of one! $1 each and no tax either!! Here if it’s food, they don’t tax it. You pay taxes at restaurants and stuff I think but not grocery items here. So that’s nice. Hand em a $5 bill and voila. 5 candies are now yours. Same exact kind and size as the movie theater ones too. Full size. Not mini ones but not almost $5 a box either!!!

Ahhh the good old days. Our movie theater back in IL was in a mall. Strict policy about smuggling in your own snacks. We figured out a way around that. One of us would come up with a shopping bag from Bergner's or JC Penny's, then somebody would pop a big tupperware bowl of popcorn. Somebody else would provide cans of pop and into the shopping bag it went along with anything else we wanted. Once in the theater out came the goodies. Bowls of popcorn passed down the row. We'd do our best to muffle the sound of pop cans being opened. We'd all hide our bowls when the ushers went by.

Good memories

Haha that’s awesome!! Ours is in a mall too but they have their own area. They redid it several years ago. There used to be this hallway/tunnel (all concrete, back drop, kinda sketchy) you could sometimes sneak into the theater in :lau and they used to always check for food and be strict too but now they mostly hire kids that either don’t know or don’t care and don’t do it. :lau :hide every time I go it’s always kids working aha

Okay, almost 24 hours without a post? I know a lot of us are a bit long in the tooth, or beak but helllllooooooo. Did everybody check into a home? Buy the farm? Kick the bucket? Push up daisies?

Anyway. Saw the pain specialist today. I'm broken. Can't be fixed. But with the wonders of modern technology they can give me relief. All it takes is injecting anesthetic into my facet joints then keeping their fingers crossed that it helps but basically I'm just slowly toddling down a path that is progressive and destructive. I told them I would decide if to proceed after talking to my PCP next week.

Oh and I can only lift 15-20 pounds. CARP! No more dirt bike riding. No more construction. No more wrestling with 200 pound rounds of wood. Did I say CARP!? If not......CARP! I told DH on the drive home that if it didn't risk having a gout flare I could sure use an adult beverage or 6. Instead I stopped at the store and bought a bag of M&Ms. They were delicious.

So come on! Where is everybody?
