I went to the county fair parade today and lo and behold a cool front started to blow in!

Hello from Vermont! We’ve had the woodstove going last 3 evenings. The dog’s bed goes right in front and he never gets up!

My 4 girls have just begun laying. I get the cutest little eggs daily, 4 today!

I know! I hate to turn up the thermostat and warm up the whole house when it’s getting toward bedtime anyway. We just move what we’re doing closer to the stove. It has a glass door so it’s beautiful to sit there. I send pic to my daughter. It makes her jealous. (That makes me sound mean! I’m not mean!). The dog just loves it, poor little Chihuahua. He gets so cold.

We started ours up in earnest yesterday. A little later than usual actually but the temps are supposed to go down in the 30s overnight by the end of this next week.
