The Old Folks Home

Do you mean Neuropathy? I have that in my feet and hands. Do you have kidney problems? Man, dealing with that with my sis..and now hubby. :(.
Yes! neuropathy from the crushed nerve and only the right foot. There are a lot of causes ranging from injury to diabetes

I've got an upper respiratory infection, and it's just starting to push into the lungs. Dr. gave me medicine. Hopefully it will knock it out quickly. This upper respiratory stuff is going around.
Is this secondary to Strep?

power is off to 513,000 customers in the first wave. More to come! 800,000 households is what I read-- millions of people since most households have more than one person in it
Wait... why???

Wait... why???

The power companies turn the power off when it’s really hot and dry due to potential fire risk. Or at least that’s what I think I understand from how Ron explained it on another thread. I might be mixing it up a bit. But I think they turn it off then have to go out and check every single line so it can take a few days to turn it back on cause I think he said they don’t turn it back on till they check all the lines? But yeah. I think it has something to do with fire risk. But of course the lines also are not properly maintained usually so of course there’s fire risk! Ha

Thanks! I tried. :)

And oh wow! I bet!! It doesn’t really seem legal they can just shut it off like that. But then again I guess that’s what happens when there are huge monopolies like that. The consumer loses. :barnie

What is? The fact they shut the power off or the cooking food for the dogs!? :lau

Very poor management down there years ago Ca wanted power from our dam projects that we get power from Tacoma had dams on Riffe lake and another on lake Mayfield
they maintain them the one on Riffe actually flooded the town of Riffe most of the houses where brought here to Mossyrock before it was flooded
