The Old Folks Home

PS Ron the kitchen fan/lights are rarely on because it blows the heat upstairs to the bedrooms (when I am baking stuff).

The house is just out to get me. I have always loved this house but, apparently it no longer cares for me. Must be a MALE house. To be honest though a female house would be mighty upset with what I have done to the kitchen.
Is it time to sell the house and down size? Mold spores are can be quite toxic if it is black mold.

You might be having issues with dust mites too. they live in the mattress and bedding. Replacing the mattress, pillows and bedding might help with the headaches. Also, wash the bedding once a week in hot water after you get the new stuff

No. But dilute it. We use bleach much too strong usually.
I would use the weak bleach amount.

Ratio: 1 tablespoon of bleach to 1 gallon of cool water. Contact Time: Let stand for 2 minutes, then wipe or air dry. Disinfecting: Ratio: 1/4 (minimum) to 3/4 (maximum) cup of bleach to 1 gallon of cool water or 1 table- spoon (minimum) to 3 table- spoons (maximum) of bleach to 1 quart of water.

deb, between the surgery, weight loss, your grandmother, moving, low blood pressure, and forgetting to eat, it's no wonder your depression is having a field day with you. Try to remember to eat, even if you have to set an alarm on your phone. Even though you're not hungry, when you don't eat, it will mess with your mood. Envisioning living in your own home is lovely, but the actual moving process, and getting the home back up to par, are daunting tasks. Don't overwhelm yourself.

When I discovered I was allergic to dust mites and mold, they gave me list that I passed on to DH when he developed the same allergies. No curtains, no blinds. We do use roll up rattan style window furnishings and they seem to be the lesser of the evils. No carpets. I do have two small area rugs in the house but no carpeting.

They told me to make your bedroom as dust and allergen free as possible. Nothing on furniture, no areas that can hide dust....I'm still working on that one, But it does make a difference.

I need to work on that. We have a lot of curtains, pillows, fabric etc. in the room and books. So many books. All of which probably collect dust so I gotta work on that.
