shed have a wild time here Joan Embry from The San Diego zoo lives not ten mils from us... And she has zebra and Girraffes and and assortment of geriatriatric critters.I fell asleep right after lunch! But since then I've made dinner, roasted a whole lot of vegetables, and made butternut soup. Tomorrow I bring the butternut soup over to my mother-in-law's. It's for eating during the day - lunch or maybe afternoon. To keep from over-eating!
Then return home to make cranberry bread (2 loaves), and pull together the roasted vegetables. I have more vegetables to roast, then find some way to carry them to dinner. Then Friday, my daughter, husband, and delightful little granddaughter (see avatar!) arrive. Lamp chops, roasted vegetables (!), cranberry bread. Maybe something for dessert. I'd better figure this out!
Little Frances (see avatar!) has shown a recent passion for animals. All birds are called "duck," but she also knows "dog" (sounds a lot like "duck"), cow (pronounced "moooo"), giraffe ("ya-rah") and for some reason, is entranced with zebras. As luck would have it, a fairly wealthy individual in my town owns a zebra, and we will be going to see it! We can also see chickens, cows, and horses. I'm not sure where to see a duck. It will be a good Thanksgiving!
I did not know this, however, I never even considered giving my dogs any turkey fat. Thanks for the warning.BTW turkey fat is a no no for dogs, it can cause pancreatitis & death. I kid you not!
