The Old Folks Home

I've been getting the double click issue with my mouse for awhile. It got progressively worse. I've read things, and watched a few videos on how to fix it. Last night, I couldn't use it. I decided I needed to attempt fixing it. Dh insisted he was going to fix it. I told him, his hands are too big, too shaky, and I'd do it. Nope, nothing doing. Well, he struggled with it for awhile, then finally got it all back together. Um, now the left mouse button is permanently pressed down, even though I'm not pushing it, and the scroll wheel isn't working at all. We ordered a new one last night, and it will be here Thursday. When he goes back to work tomorrow night, I'll take it apart, and see if I can fix it. I may not be able to, but while I'm in there, I'll get the numbers, and later on I'll order new switches, and put them in.
I have a wireless mouse and it does that when I need new batteries... But Yeah those mice are pretty easy to fix. for me its because I have oily hands. Thats why I went to optical... Then wireless.

The skiing was awesome at Okemo today! (I know you were all wondering!). The wind was a little too awesome, though. Heaven for wind-lovers.

But the snow was perfect and I had a blast!
Gottcha snow ball.gif It sounds like a great day!

I wear out keyboards faster than mice!

Once he couldn't fix it, we ordered quick, since the price was held over from Black Friday, and we only had 5 minutes left to get it for $50.00. Great price!
I can get a whole Keyboard and mouse for that.... but Wired combos are about 25-35... All on Amazon. I am interested in that because they have the ability to light the keys... I loose my place occasionally and cant see the buttons...

I am sorry Dont you hate people that say "I can get it cheaper at Bla bla bla"....

Yep I think you made me decide to press that order buttonn I have four keys that stick togehter... Catsup... I even stripped the buttons off the keyboard and cleaned them. but the particles went a little too deep into the workings.

not a worker... officially retired now... SS came through. and thankfully its enough to live on when I am at home. I love the wind as well When we lived in Las Vegas and the wind would blow through the valley it would turn the trees inside out... Id get on my skateboard and open my coat and sail down the sidewalk....

I confess I was being sarcastic about loving the wind. It wasn’t bad in today’s temperatures, which were mid-20s (F), but on a seriously cold day one needs serious protection. The worst is when it picks up those tiny ice crystals of snow and attacks the 2 sq inches of your face that aren’t covered.

But it was so good to be skiing again!

Hey there had to go move money we all got out first checks next in a week so get to pay all the bills we are way to old fashioned that way we go to the bank ask them take from here move to there
Funny thing that... If I can I pay on line... But there are some places who's websites are in the dark ages... I pay in person... Propane company is one.

Nice people I pay in cash Which causes all sorts of issues. LOL

never been in that kind of cold.... Roswell had snow every winter.... But we were there only four years... Kids dont seem to feel it.

I get snow up at the house but I neither have shoes to walk in it nor Clothing except for wearing layers and layers... I seriously need to think about getting some shoes for that kind of weather... I am a fan of boots with good treds so will probably go to REI and get fitted. probably will look through the clothing as well.

I would love some thermal underware.... even here. I get chilled when its 60 degrees these days.

Hey I just had an experience long awated. I got to hot and had to take my jacket off... It seems my internal furnace is beginning to work.

Yay :wee
