The Old Folks Home

Morning Old Folks quiet day started here paid the bills outstanding now just kicking back with my coffee the BF and Son went shopping left to my own byc laugh off chair.gif

I think you need seat belts for your chair penny. You know how hard it is for "some" folks to get up once they fall down. If the grocery stores I usually have to grab hold of the shelves to pull myself back up, with knees crying all the way.

Actually the knees "had it," when I used to do the LONG walks - up to marathon distance. Too much time upright and no time sitting down. Then after getting home and sitting - too hard to "reinvent the wheel," so to speak.

No seat belts needed work to keep myself getting up but thank you
lost my best pair of 4 inch sewing scissor gehring made in Germany brand bought as a set in the 60's by Grandma just devastated looked through the bedroom under over in no sign of them

Microchick, can't stop thinking about how happy VARN would be to live with ME. I could say he was my emotional support dog and get him on the senior bus. The ladies would be loving him too.:yesss:

Girl, you would have to fight me four out of five falls for that little boy....and I'm a tough little banti.:yesss: He's my baby, cocky attitude and all. I don't think anybody could pry any one of those pups away from us. Like 5 kids, each has their own personalities and gifts and there isn't a day that they don't make us laugh. But I'll tell him that Auntie DD loves him.

Good morning old folks! Painted this fox this morning for a friend of mine who lost her mom a few days ago. She loves foxes and I hope this gives her a little cheer. She was really close to her mom
I got a second letter from DD yesterday. She told me of a way I can send a letter for her to get it almost right away. I sent her one through the app but they charge more than regular postage to use the service so I am going to do most of my letter writing the old fashioned way. I sent her the Grinch painting and some shampoo and conditioner that she asked for. I have to get another small care package together of stuff she needs (bandaids and neosporin). Apparently they haven't been allowed to go to the shoppette yet. I am surprised they don't supply bandaids. I know when I was in basic we just had to ask for one and the drill sergeants would give us one.
Well I am off to do some shopping with a friend and then I have to come home to work on some pillowcases I need to make for the hospice residents.View attachment 1980708
