Yep, I stocked the pantry in preparation for a cold, dreary winter. I guess the joke is on me. All those nutritious hot soups, winter baked goods just begging to be made- but the temp here in East Texas is a warm 65- 70's. I wore short sleeves today outside. Around New Years, I had to mow. The front yard could use a mowing too- this is so confusing- when do you apply pre emergent weed killer if they never die? Oh well, maybe I could make a pie and feel better.

This year has been the first in a long time, that the winter here resembles more of what it used to be like when I was a kid, but winter is not over yet, so we'll see.

Was he exposed to agent orange, Penny? I think diabetes qualifies if the vet can prove he was in an area where there was exposure. We lost a good friend almost two years ago to parkinson's disease from OA exposure in Nam.

So many preservatives I thought they were like velveta cheese and would last forever in your pocket/purse or in the trunk of your car!

Geez, I'd hate to see the mess if someone left Velveeta in the trunk on a non freezing day. Better have it double bagged.

Incidentally Payday's do not melt. I love them - who on earth could resist eating them right away?

I would think the caramel would melt if it got warm enough, not as fast as chocolate though.
