The Old Folks Home

Yeah, Al, ya just can't fix stupid.

I read where they had to shut down the school in order to 'sanitize' it but they are saying that chance of transmission is low.....famous last words.

I think they told the passengers on the Titanic that it was unsinkable also.
True, true...very safe ship... :old

Yesterday I cooked a roast, potatoes, and carrots. We didn't eat it, so I warmed it for our supper tonight. It was great. Taking advantage of the daylight savings hours, and putting up the kids' swing set/fort. I doubt it gets done tonight, but Dh, and Dd have got a good start on it, and it will get done tomorrow. I've been wanting to get this for them, since they moved here. Another outdoor activity for them.
Roast, stew and Chili is often better the next day!

The Grands will love the new swing set

My poor husband. If it isn't one thing it's another. Dr. had him come in for his yearly physical. We didn't need to be told that he's declining. It's sure hard to carry on a conversation with him, but I can figure it out most of the time. While there at the docs I reminded him that his last Dr was watching his scrotum. ..that sounded funny...😁. Anyway, he did have the blood test last year..that's nice they check that way now days. Blood test again. It's doubled in size. 😔. Going in for an ultra sound this morning. If, he needs it removed, I need to ask if a block can be done instead of him going under anesthesia. I've learned that can bring a dramatic decline on in Alzheimer patients. Now, I haven't let my my mind go to the big C word too seriously. Of course it's come to mind, but where it's been enlarged for years, I'm thinking it's just that, and will probably need to be removed. I'm going to post this in a few places, because I know a lot of folks will offer up a prayer or two for us. I sure love you guys. 💜.
Cyn sending tons of prayers to you and your husband

Hey everyone . Today I rested, except when I went out in the woods and caught a stray rooster, and when I collected eggs. Sore throat and fatigue, so I napped twice.
I hope the lyme disease is under control!

Catching a cold and lyme does not sound fun
